Gables Melon

A home-brewed experiment: drink at your own risk. Essentially a rum sour with Midori.

 

Ingredients:

1.5 oz white rum (such as Bacardi Superior)

0.5 oz Midori

1 oz pineapple syrup

1 oz lime juice

 

Everything ready? Now it's time for instructions:

Add ice to a shaker or something that works as one. Add together your rum, liqueur, and syrup and shake vigorously 50 to 75 times. Strain into a chilled martini or cocktail glass and serve. 

For some extra fizz, you can top it off with either tonic water or unflavored seltzer water. Honestly, though, I don't recommend it - this should top off your glass anyways!
